Three years ago, I sent his big sister off to Kindergarten (I was going to post a link to her kindergarten post, but it's no longer there! I don't know what happened to it! Bummer), now she is entering the 3rd grade today. She is growing up too fast.
They will always be my babies!
Well, I followed Lindsey around on her first day of Kindergarten so I did the same for Bren. Took pictures of him before he left for the bus stop, at the bus stop and then at school. I didn't stay long, but these are things you want to remember, so moms or future moms don't be embarrassed or inhibited, get your camera and get these pictures. You will want them later!
I asked them to hold hands. Cooties do exist, I guess.
The principal wrote bus numbers on the kid's hands so I wanted to take a picture of Bren's... All the other kids decided they wanted me to take a picture of their hands too, it was SO funny.
Yes. That's my son with his entire mouth enclosed around the water fountain spigot. Awesome. Yes, my son is the reason you shouldn't drink out of public water fountains. Don't say I didn't warn you... WITH EVIDENCE.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!
I miss him. Oh well. He's probably having a blast. He probably doesn't miss mommy ONE BIT ha.

My mum photographed my sister and I on the first day of school every year and it's such a great thing to have to look back on. x

ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea, especially since you can look back and revisit this day.
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE that he didn't care about the cooties but Lindsey is totally trying not to hold his hand. Ew, little brother cooties! I'm glad he had her to ride the bus with & everything. I hope he had a blast & that you got some rest. ;)
