Hi there. I'm 26 weeks, and HERE is my 26 week belly.
Belly looks a bit bigger than last week but for some reason week 24 I looked HUGE. I think at week 24 she must have been a little more scrunched up. I get the feeling by where I am feeling kicks that she is stretched out and just having a great time in my belly ha. Last appointment my fundal height was right on with my weeks of pregnancy so I am not worried about growth. I just think she is maxin and relaxin in there. ha.
Things are going well. My only complaint right now is I get sensations of overwhelming lightheadedness. Not even dizzy. Just like I'm going to pass out. I get it when I sit down as well... matter of fact as I type this I am having one of these episodes. My heart feels like it's working overtime and I want nothing more than to lay down and go to sleep. I did go to the Dr. to get my blood pressure checked among other things... everything seems normal... so I just try not to worry about it too much.
Still taking my walks although I will be honest and say it is becoming a huge struggle. Not to get out to take the walk, but while I am taking the walk I run into "the wall." Have you seen the movie Run, Fatboy, Run? If you have, you know about "the wall." ha. I've been able to move past it, but I am worried as my pregnancy progresses that I won't have the will power. Meh, I won't worry about that now. One day at a time.
The fun stuff is when Avery gets really active and my belly is bumping all over the place. I can't help but giggle.
P.S. Yes, my hair is darker. Yes, I did color it. Don't worry, it is no longer a concern to dye your hair while pregnant. They tell you to be in a well ventilated room and to wait till you are in your 2nd trimester... check and check. So. Gray is covered and hair is darker. :)
And THAT my friends is pregnancy week 26 for the Schmames. Have a great Thursday!
You mean to say that with all that time off work that I could actually dye my hair bright pink and it wouldn't be a problem!
ReplyDeleteYou look fab lady!
You are looking great and yes, I know aalll about "the wall." All the best!!
ReplyDeleteYou're one pretty mama! Looking pretty small too. How tall are you, around 5'5" I'm guessing?
ReplyDelete& have you had any food cravings?
Han, I'm sure you could dye your hair pink while preggers ;) ha. Just follow the above guidelines ha. or Ask your dr. first. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrea
Samantha: ha ha ha! NO I am 5'1 ha. I'm short. I think the reason I look small is because baby is sitting LOW and is probably finding plenty of room to stretch out... also baby was measuring 19.2 weeks when I was 19.6 so maybe the fact that she is seeming to be small is why my belly is looking the way it is. ha. I am so glad that I appear to be 4 inches taller than I am though. ha. I've always wanted to at least be 5'5" ha.
I literally just realized that you are using the "Digs My Hart" font that I use on my blog! Am I right? All this time I was like I love that font it's so cute and duh, it's one I use all the time. Haha.
ReplyDeleteI like your darker hair! I dyed mine around the same time in my pregnancy and everyone had a field day. But like you said, it's safe if you wait until the 2nd semester and talk to your doc.
5'1"?! Awww, you're such a little momma. :D I figured you were short by where your bathroom door handle is at. Good thing we're not standing next to each other- I'd tower over you (I'm 5'9")
ReplyDelete:)
happy 26 weeks! you look adorable!
ReplyDeleteRun fat boy run is s funny!! I am so impressed that your still doing your walks, I am not pregnant I am too lazy to get out there and walk...LOL!!
ReplyDeleteGood job for still going out for your walks. I use to go on a walk every single day when I was halfway through the second trimester. I kept going for walks daily after that and I do remember I had to decrease my walks towards the end of the third trimester.
ReplyDeleteYou are looking really good and I love the darker hair color. :D
You're so pretty! I was wondering why they said that about the hair dye but with your description, I now know! Glad everything is going smoothly & everything. The walking "wall" suckssssss but hopefully you can move past it up until the end! You're so awesome & strong! I'm so happy for you Schmamey! <3
ReplyDeleteYou are looking so good! I love watching my tummy bounce around unless I'm trying to sleep. Then I get grouchy haha! Seth loves it though. He thinks it's funny :) You are pretty amazing for still going on walks! My hips/back are killing me after I have straightened up the house... and I have a tiny house!
