High Royal Mess

I am not inhibited by pride.  I am not going to lie to you.  I am just going to be honest and say.  My kitchen is a literal high royal mess...
It would be nice if you tell me that your kitchen gets this way sometimes too.  Otherwise, maybe I should have a little pride and be embarrassed that I am showing you this picture.  I like to believe that I am not the only one who lets the dishes go at times.  IN MY DEFENSE!  I have been very busy with work (ie. editing photos for clients) So you see, I have time to mess them up, but not clean them.  Furthermore!  There isn't any rotting food, rotten smells, or maggots emanating from this pile of messy dishes so rest assured, it's not THAT BAD!  It's really just a big pile of dishes that need to go into that lovely little dishwasher you see to the right.  YOU SHOULD ALSO KNOW!  That as soon as I click "publish post"  I will be tackling this high royal mess and making it high royal clean.

    my kitchen totally looks like this sometimes. right now i can't stand to be near a pile of dishes without gagging. i can smell everything that was on the plates. haha. i'm sure it will be the same when i have a baby and i'm taking care of her instead of cleaning the sink.

    My kitchen doesn't get this bad but our bedroom is like a bomb exploded in there! On my side of the room there are clothes everywhere lol. I am at home all weekend apart from church this weekend so I'm going to do washing and hope for good weather if not I'll sit with the door to the kitchen open while the tumble dryer runs lol.

    Good for you and I actually applaud you for posting the first photo! Yes, my kitchen gets like that too :) But uh, can I hire you to do MY dishes? You did an outstanding job!

    Becca: Yes. Babies interfer completely with the ability to accomplish the everyday house chores. It's one of the downfalls of having kids. Unless you have all day to devote to cleaning up every little mess they make, then yep... the house suffers a bit. UNFORTUNATELY

    Han: Well, My bedroom isn't horrible, but it's not spic and span. I need a maid.

    Srsly Liz: ha ha ha. Yeah. I rationalized it by believing that there were others out there whose kitchens resemble mine at times. And Thanks for the compliment on my cleaning skills. (brushing off shoulders proudly)

    my kitchen gets this way, a LOT! my parents like to throw down the rule "do your own & they'll all get done" ...um, sorry mom, not if you dont do yours too! lol. so yeah, it happens! but WOW you're a spectacular cleaner!!! (i am too, i just like to recognize great cleaners & praise them)

    Wow, I hate when kitchens get messy like that. Although for me, once it gets to that point I'm just disgusted (I really can't stand to touch dirty things, I start freaking out for some reason) and someone else has to do it, although I try not to let it get that way lol. Looks really good though, you did a hell of a good job!
